Chevrolet Spark from the house of General Motors has given their sales a good boost. And now Spark will be seen with more variants on the same platform. The company is concentrating on the on the  development of their second plant  along with engine and power strain  plant at Talegaon in Maharashtra and the new models will be hitting the roads this year. 

This plant will help them export in a big way. Currently the engines are imported in
India except for Tavera, as it is equipped with Hindustan Motors engine. GM’s another model ‘Captiva’ in the SUV segment is also shining on the Indian roads. 

Spark seems to have given a real spark to the car maker. Its sales are going up in
India since this model has been rolled out. Now the wait is to ensure that the new variants also rocks the Indian car market like ‘Spark’ did.
